An exhibition of paintings by Natalia Kaminskaya "Personal" will open on March 27 in the "Rakurs" gallery (2nd floor). The organizers are the National Library of Belarus and "BRAMA", the author's non-profit conceptual gallery.

What means “personal”? It is a reflection in the mirror, things, relationships with loved ones, secret dreams. It may be so. But for the artist Natalia Kaminskaya, first of all, “personal” means an inseparable connection with Smolevichi, her native town and all the life stages and events here. In the surrounding world of objects and things, she sees the connection with people, the poetics of the passing time, and conveys it all on her canvases, extracting the imaginative beginning from everything that is around.

Picturesque canvases by Natalia Kaminskaya are unusually vivid, attractive, telling about love to the native places and warm childhood memories. The exhibition presents landscapes of the Smolevichy region, childhood, as well as portraits of relatives and friends.

Details of the interior, things on the still lifes, subtle transitional states of nature in the landscape, tense rhythms of the city, peaceful village corners – all this is visible and recognizable on the canvas of the artist and becomes deeply personal. Sometimes it seems that the pictures perform an amazing author's melody, playing with colors, rhythms, textures.

The exhibition will be open until April 28, 2018.
The end date of the exhibition can be changed.

The opening hours of the exhibition corresponds to the library’s opening hours.
Entrance to the exhibition is available by the library ticket or ticket of the library's social and cultural center.
