On June 18, the vacationers of “Zarnitsa” children's recreation camp, located in a picturesque place of Minsk Region, enjoyed a virtual tour. The event was focused on the life and work of the famous classic of Belarusian literature and master of historical genre, Uladzimir Karatkevich.

The event started with an interactive tour of the National Library of Belarus, and then the vacationers watched an online presentation about the life and work of Uladzimir Karatkevich. The event also featured a traveling exhibition, which presented the books by the writer and publications about Minsk and the city of  Orsha, where Uladzimir Karatkevich was born. The children also watched the animated film The Tale of Bygone Years about the coats of arms of Belarus and performed several creative tasks. At the end of the tour, they received souvenirs from the library.

The Belarusian Notary Chamber and the National Library of Belarus: keeping history together

On June 5, in the Hall of Educational Technologies of the NLB, within the framework of the previously signed agreement on cooperation in the field of information activities between the Belarusian Notary Chamber and the National Library of Belarus, a solemn transfer to the library's collections of a unique publication dedicated to the stages of the formation of the institute of notary in the Belarusian lands took place.
