Life and creative career of Uladzimir Karatkievich

An excursion from the cycle "Outstanding People of the Motherland" about the life path and creative career of Uladzimir Karatkievich is intended primarily for schoolchildren and students and everyone who is interested in story of his life.

During the tour visitors will learn about the architectural features of the National Library of Belarus building, its information resources and services, analyze the principle of the electronic catalog on the example of the search for works of famous Belarusian writer.

The interactive part of the lesson includes a multimedia presentation about the life path and creative career of Uladzimir Karatkievich, literary quiz on his novel "King Stakh's Wild Hunt". Guests will see a book exhibition of the Yanka Maur’s works from the collections of the National Library of Belarus, including his lifetime editions.
