The “Big City” TV-show released a full-scale story about the National Library of Belarus. Virtual resources, services and exhibitions – a keen reader can find a lot of useful information.

There are many authors of scientific papers among our readers. But making researches from home is not an easy task. It is possible to find trusted sources online only in specialized databases.

Ms Elena Dolgopolova, First Deputy General Director of the National Library of Belarus, spoke about access points to the resources of the world publishers and about the virtual services of the library in the studio.

Ms Elena Tulupova, Head of the Reference and Information Service Department of the National Library of Belarus, told about the electronic resources of the “Diamond of Knowledge”.

It’s not possible to get to the library offline yet, but you can see exhibitions in galleries on the library’s website.  For example, a video about the exposition of the "Great Victory" exhibition project will provide an opportunity to see it fragmentarily.

An interesting fact: in the process of preparing the project, an interesting artefact was found. Ms Irina Vasilkovich, Head of the Gallery and Exhibition Department, described the artefact in the studio.

We remember the terrible events of the war and the Great Victory. Thanks to our grandparents, today's Belarus is a prosperous country. Mr Roman Motulsky, Director General of the National Library of Belarus, described the exhibition “Do not Miss the Wonderful Moments!”.
