On July1, 2009, in the framework of a visit to the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus timed to the 65th anniversary of liberation of Belarus from Nazi occupants, a delegation of veterans of the Great Patriotic War from the Russian Federation visited National Library of Belarus.
The guests made an excursion of National Library of Belarus and visited the Museum of a Book. The new expositions “Underground and partisan press in Belarus: to the 65th anniversary of liberation of Belarus from Nazi occupants” and “Unsubdued Belarus” dedicated to heroism of Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War attracted interest of the visitors.
