On July 2, 2009, at 4 p.m. the city festival of choral song “In the name of Life!” dedicated to the 65th anniversary of liberation of Belarus from Nazi occupants starts on the square next to National Library of Belarus.
About 800 best entertainers from all regions of Belarus will be on the stage to congratulate Minsk residents and guests of the city.
Artists will perform military songs, music, dances and Belarusian folk songs. People’s artist of the Republic of Belarus Gennady Garbuk and theatrical and film actress Svetlana Zelenkovskaya will hold the concert.
