On 11 September, the event, devoted to famous explorer and chronicler of Belarusian gentry families A. Stetskevich-Cheboganov, was held at the National Library of Belarus.


During this event the author presented 150 copies of the book "I – son of Yours: Grzhymala coat of arms used by the family of Kozanovich".

Among the participants was Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Belarus T. Struzhetsky, Director of the National Library of Belarus R. Motulsky, chairman of the International Foundation "Family. Union. Fatherland", a member of the publishing Council of the Russian Orthodox Church V. Grozov, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, writer and literary critic V. Gnilomedov, writer, editor of the magazine Polymya N. Metlitsky and other representatives of the national science, culture and education.

The presentation of editions was held at the event:

For 2012 the National Library of Belarus has received over 300 copies of the first three editions, most of them have already been allocated to other libraries of the country.

During the event A. Stsetskevich-Cheboganov presented 150 copies of the fourth book and assured that it is only the beginning of a large series of research on reputed Belarusian families, through which the history of our homeland can be traced.

There was also a ceremonial signing of a copyright treaty on the works of A. Stsetskevich-Cheboganov to use them in a digital format and provide them to the electronic library of the NLB.
