The results and the ceremony of awarding the finalists of the photo contest "Belarus and China through My Eyes" was held on April 12 in the library.

Mir Castle – Great Wall of China, snow-covered forest – cherry blossom gardens, two small boys, a Chinese and a Belarussian, smiling and playing together... Amazing photos of the contest participants reflect the color and uniqueness of two distant countries - Belarus and China. Each has its own rich culture and national traditions, but there are things that bind and unite two peoples: common values ​​and beauty of human relations.
140 people took part in the "Belarus and China through My Eyes" contest, each of which was awarded a certificate of the participant today.

There are finalists in five nominations. The third, second and first places respectively were taken by: in the nomination "The spirit of friendship and cooperation": Alexander Gorbash, Gan Chauvei and Alexandra Mikhailova, "Human. Family. Society”: Zheng Minghui, Oksana Sherba, Tatyana Ivashko,"Culture and Traditions": Alexey Dvorak, Li Isyan and Maxim Artishevsky, "Architecture. Sightseeing”: Maxim Sokolov, Sun Vantin, Svetlana Kuksa,"Nature": Dmitry Saikovsky, Liu Lu and Wang Shiwei.

The event was attended by Li Wenhua, the First Secretary for Education of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Belarus; Yuri Nikolaychik, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Belarusian National Technical University; Liu Yuiin, Director of the Confucius Institute for Science and Technology of the Belarusian National Technical University; Armen Sardarov, the Dean of the Architecture Faculty of the Belarusian National Technical University.

On April 24, 2024, at the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Rumyantsev Readings-2024" in Moscow, Olga Polunchenko, chief bibliographer of the Department of reference and Information Services, presented a report "The role of Adam Shanyavsky in organizing the library fund of the Nesvizh County School (the last quarter of the XVIII century)."
