From May 7th to June 8th, a thematic book exhibition “Youth of Belarus, the future of the nation” timed to the Year of Youth runs in the National Library of Belarus (2nd floor, circular corridor).
The future of Belarus depends in many respects on the young generation – the enterprise, activity, initiative, political and economic competence, intellectual and spiritual development of young people. Youth problem solving is a component of the state policy in the field of social and economic, cultural and national development of the country.
The exhibition “Youth of Belarus, the future of the nation” presents about 200 documents in Belarus and Russian languages concerning youth policy in the Republic of Belarus, education, spiritual, patriotic and gender education of youth. Books about the role of the young generation in national policy, economy, science, art and sports are on display.
The exposition consists of seven sections: “The social world of youth”, “Ideology and patriotic education of youth”, “Spiritual and gender education of the young generation”, “Youth and education”, “Youth in science, economy, policy”, “Youth in arts”, “Youth, sports and healthy lifestyle”.
The exposition is designed for a wide audience.
