From May 2 to July 12, the exhibition "Liberation of Belarus on the pages of the periodical press" dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders will be exhibited in the reading room of the interlibrary and individual subscription (room 164).
The periodicals of 1944, presented at the exhibition, report on the atrocities of the Nazi invaders; tell about the courage of the Belarusian people who fought against the fascist occupation for their freedom and independence; glorify the heroes of the liberators of Belarus.
Newspapers published in the jubilee years of the liberation of Belarus tell about the labor exploits of Belarusians in restoring the national economy and destroyed towns and villages, about awarding Minsk the title of "Hero City".
