The exhibition of children’s graphics “Her Majesty – Letter”, dedicated to the International Children’s Day, has been opened in the gallery “Panorama” on June 1.


The 22nd floor of the Library was decorated with the works of young artists of the art-studio “The Sun” on the day of the gentlest holiday. The studio was founded in 2000 by the Minsk State Palace of Children and Youth. In 2011 it moved to the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Minsk, where it still works under guidance of the artist, member of the Belarusian Union of Folk Art Masters Alla Keige.

“The Sun” annually holds art exhibitions dedicated to the famous artists’ art, important historical events, and festive dates. For example, an exhibition of illustrations to Al3exander Pushkin’s fairy tales and Agnia Barto’s poems, art project on songs dedicated to the victory in the Great Patriotic War, graphics exhibition “Line, stroke, blur”, etc.

“Her Majesty – Letter”, another exposition of the art-studio “The Sun”, presented young artists’ view on the letter through a fairy-tale, thoroughly read, perceived and understood.

Elena Dolgopolova, the first deputy director of the National Library of Belarus, Natalia Avralyova, the consultant of the Russian Cooperation Office in the Republic of Belarus – the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Minsk, Evgenia Subbotina, the chief specialist Representative Office of the Russian cooperation in the Republic of Belarus – the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Minsk, Liudmila Rybakova, the general producer of the International Contemporary Art Contest “The Belarusian Week of Arts”, Alla Keige, the head of the art-studio “The Sun” participated in the exposition opening.

We invite to the exhibition children and their parents to realize that childhood is the best time to read good fairy-tales and for boundless creativity!

It’s possible to get acquainted with the exposition till August 20, 2017.

The closing date of the exhibition can be changed.

Since June 2 the entrance to the exhibition is charged, it equals the price of the visit of the observation platform.
