On May 16–17, 2024, XXX Cyril and Methodius readings "Spiritual and Secular education: history and prospects of interaction (to the 20th anniversary of the Institute of Theology of BSU)" will be held in Minsk.
On May 17, 2024, within the framework of the XXX International Cyril and Methodius Readings, the XX scientific and practical conference "Spiritual Revival of Society and the Orthodox Book" will be held, which will be accompanied by a festive event dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Coordinating Council for Library Activities at the Synodal Department of Religious Education and Catechesis of the Belarusian Orthodox Church. Historically, the Coordinating Council is the successor of the Methodological Association of Orthodox Librarians, established in 2004 with the blessing of Metropolitan Filaret (Vakhromeev; 1935–2021), the First Patriarchal Exarch of all Belarus.
The conference is organized by the Coordinating Council for Library Activities of the Synodal Department of Religious Education and Catechesis of the Belarusian Orthodox Church.
Heads and specialists of libraries of the Belarusian Orthodox Church, public libraries of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus, libraries of institutions of secondary general, special and higher education of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, libraries of other ministries and departments of the Republic of Belarus, representatives of structures of the Belarusian Orthodox Church are invited to participate in the conference.

The venue of the event is the conference hall of the parish of the Icon of the Mother of God "Joy of All who Mourn" at the address: Minsk, Prytytsky str., 65 (Sportivnaya metro station).
Participation in the conference is free of charge. Transportation costs, accommodation, meals are at the expense of the sending party.
