To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Liberation of the Republic of Belarus from Nazi invaders and the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, on May 2, the premiere of the film "Time to Return" about the military exploits of Belarusian partisans during the preparation of Operation “Bagration” (Belarusfilm, directed by Ivan Pavlov) will take place in a playful way.

On May 5, the 205th anniversary of the birth of Stanislaw Moniuszko (1819–1872), the world-famous composer and conductor, our countryman, who made a significant contribution to the formation of Belarusian musical culture, is celebrated. By this date, the National Library of Belarus has updated the already existing virtual project "Stanislaw Moniuszko. Musical romantic from Minsk region", created five years ago, and now replenished with new unique materials.
