On 17 October, within the framework of an official visit to the Republic of Belarus Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade and Integration of the Republic of Ecuador Ricardo Patino Aroca visited the National Library of Belarus.
At the National Library of Belarus the eminent guest was welcomed by Elena Dolgopolova, First Deputy Director of the National Library of Belarus for User Service and Ideology. The excursion over the Library was organized to the Minister. During this excursion he learned about its activities, information resources, equipment, reading rooms, architectural features and interior design. The excursion continued at the Library’s Observation Platform from where they got a beautiful view of the capital and its outskirts.
At the Book Museum the guest viewed the collection of rare editions from the collections of the National Library of Belarus. Ricardo Patino Aroca wrote a memorable entry in the Guests of Honor Book.
