From April 21, 2009 to April 24, 2009, National Library of Belarus participates in the 16th International Forum on Telecommunications, Information and Banking Technologies "ТIBО-2009".
By the size of exposition, authoritative participants, number of visitors and mass media attention the forum “TIBO” is a leader among the biggest annual exhibitions in the Republic of Belarus. The exhibition is designed both for experts and average users.
At the frame of National Library of Belarus are displayed information products including a wide variety of databases produced by the Library and the biggest foreign companies. The exhibition reveals printing and publishing activities of National Library of Belarus.
The visitors can learn about the main information resources and services of the Library (“National Library in Press”, “Virtual Reading Room”, “Virtual Center of Legal Information”, “Electronic Archive of National Periodicals” , "Electronic Catalog of National Library of Belarus" and other information resources).
The International forum “TIBO” initiated by the Ministry of Communication and Informatization has been held annually since 1994. Traditionally, National Library of Belarus along with Belarusian ministries, enterprises and organizations hold the exhibition and congress.
The forum “TIBO” promotes international cooperation, all-round communication among experts, innovative development of the country and application of advanced technologies.
