On 20 April, Belarusian Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich, on behalf of the Head of State, presented State Prizes of the Republic of Belarus to the honored citizens.
The ceremony was held at the Round Hall of the National Library of Belarus.
Prizes were awarded to representatives of industries, state employees, pedagogues, medical workers, journalists and other professionals.
Participants of the solemn event were decorated with the Labor Merit Medals and Francisk Skoryna Medal. The word of welcome was spoken on behalf of the President of the Republic of Belarus.
