On 19 September at the National Library of Belarus there was held an international seminar “New electronic information resources for science and education”.
The event was organized by the National Library of Belarus and the subscription agency KONEK (the Russian Federation).
Participants of the seminar considered the issues of access in Belarusian libraries to electronic information resources of the companies ProQuest, Oxford University Press, Emerald Group Publishing Ltd; also there was held a survey of electronic resources of Springer Publishing House and the Oxford University and presentation of new databases of Woodhead Publishing, Taylor&Francis and others.
The event gathered more than 80 participants: specialists of Belarusian libraries, research workers, professors and students of higher education institutes.
