On December 21, in continuation of the events dedicated to the Year of Peace and Creation, the National Library of Belarus invited the leadership of the Yakub Kolas Nesvizh State College to visit it.
The guests from ancient Nesvizh, which has rightfully become the cultural and historical center of the country, gladly accepted the invitation and visited the “diamond of knowledge” on the eve of the New Year holidays.
During the meeting, the Director of the college, Elena Zhuravleva, got acquainted with the activities of the library, met with Deputy General Director Lyudmila Vysotskaya. The parties exchanged ideas on holding joint events. As a result of the fruitful meeting, an agreement was reached to sign an agreement on further mutually beneficial cooperation.
According to a good tradition, within the framework of the charity event “Present a book – present the world”, held by the National Library, a solemn transfer of 150 books on the history, culture, and art of Belarus to the college library fund took place. It will become a New Year's gift for future teachers.
