On November 19-24, the XXVII International Conference and Exhibition "LIBCOM: Information Technologies, Computer Systems and Publishing Products for Libraries" was held in Suzdal, Vladimir region of the Russian Federation.
The organizers were the State Public Scientific and Technical Library of Russia, the International Association of Users and Developers of Electronic Libraries and New Information Technologies, the National Library Association "Libraries of the Future". Information and organizational support was provided by: the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation.
Traditionally, the conference reviewed Russian federal projects and programs of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Ministry of Culture, innovations in modern educational technologies, legal aspects of libraries and information producers, electronic libraries and electronic information resources, discussed the prospects for the development of modern information, computer and Internet technologies in library practice.
The conference was accompanied by a specialized exhibition in the following thematic areas: modern computer and Internet technologies in information and library science, electronic information and electronic resources, publishing products, library equipment and materials, educational technologies, including for schools, and other related areas.
The National Library of Belarus (NBB) was represented at the conference by Oksana Buychik, head of the sector of the electronic library formation department, who introduced the participants to the NBB electronic collections in the field of culture and art and their role in popularizing the national cultural heritage.
