On 24 October, within the framework of the meeting of the Council of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, a delegation of the National Assembly of Armenia visited the National Library of Belarus.
The delegation was led by Vice Chairman of the National Assembly of Armenia Mr. Samvel Balasanyan.
At the National Library of Belarus Elena Dolgopolova, First Deputy Director of the National Library of Belarus for User Service and Ideology, welcomed the guests. Members of the delegation made a familiarization excursion to the Library and learned about its activities, architectural features, equipment, information resources and interior design.
The excursion continued on the outdoor observation platform of the Library where the guests got a picturesque view of the capital and the suburbs.
At the Book Museum the guests could see the collection of rare editions from the stocks of the National Library of Belarus.
