The National Library of Belarus continues the series of anniversary book exhibitions dedicated to lives and creative careers of outstanding masters of artistic expression.
In the second half of the year, from 17 July to 31 December, readers and visitors can see the exhibition "Unsaid, great, wonderful..." dedicated to the 200th anniversary from the date of the birth of Mikhail Lermontov (1814–1841).
In the first half of the year, as part of the anniversary book exhibitions "Writers’ anniversaries" there have been organized the following exhibitions:
- "The King of Poets": to the 450th anniversary from the date of the English poet and playwright William Shakespeare (1564–1616) – from 22 January to 31 December;
- "To the glory of our glorious Ukraine": to the 200th anniversary from the date of the Ukrainian poet and artist Taras Shevchenko (1814–1861) – from 22 January to 9 July.
The exhibitions are placed on the 3rd floor of the circular corridor.
