In 2024, an important date is celebrated for the entire cultural community of Belarus - the 100th anniversary of Belarusian cinema.
The National Library of Belarus joins the celebration and invites you to the opening of the cycle of film screenings “Magic of the cinema frame”, where viewers will be able to enjoy films created at the famous domestic film studio Belarusfilm.
As part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from Nazi invaders, the library begins a series of military drama “Undermining” (2022). This is a poignant film about friendship, love, betrayal and selfless love for the Motherland. The film won recognition and left positive reviews from a wide audience, captivated by the emotionality and depth, professionalism and persuasiveness of the actor's embodiment, unexpected plot twists, and the aesthetics of the film frame.
We invite all interested parties to film screenings. Let's get inspired by Belarusian films together, discuss, share emotions and impressions and celebrate the 100th anniversary of Belarusian cinema.
