International programmes, scholarships and grants for teachers

This section contains information on foreign and international scholarship programmes for teaching, research, internship abroad for teachers who are citizens of the Republic of Belarus.

National Scholarship Programme of the Slovak Republic

The government scholarship of the Slovak Republic is designed to support mobility of foreign students and university professors, graduate students, researchers and professionals in the arts and provided for the passage of training, teaching, research or artistic training in universities and research organizations in Slovakia.

Application deadlines:

• October 31 – for the scholarship in the summer semester of the current academic year;
• April 30 – for the scholarship in the following school year.

Nokia Visiting Professor grants

Grants for Nokia Visiting Professors are given to distinguished foreign professors to work in Finland. Visitors coming to Finland must typically participate in research work, give lectures and collaborate with Finnish companies. Longer (3–6 months), uninterrupted visits are preferred. Nokia Foundation Board makes decisions about awarding the grants quarterly.
