The publications that tell about the work and the world outlook of American classicist are of great interest. M. Twain is presented not only as a writer but also as an inventor of braces, pins, calendars, cots; a man who became a millionaire twice and went broke; a favorite of kings and revolutionaries, atheists and priests.

The study of M. Mendelssohn "The Realism of Mark Twain" (2005), completed shortly before the death of the author and never published before, dedicated to the works of the founder of American literature is quite interesting.
