The staff of the National Library of Belarus recalls Inessa Ivanovna with respect and awe as a highly qualified specialist, sensitive, responsive, conscientious and very talented person. She could tell the story of the library in prose or expose it in verse. And how many wonderful songs she knew ...

In 1961 she began her career as a librarian in the Minsk Palace of Pioneers and Schoolchildren after she had graduated Minsk State Pedagogical Institute named after M. Gorky. In the same year she moved to the State Library of the BSSR named after V. Lenin Five years later, Inessa Ivanovna was transferred to the post of the Senior Librarian of the Scientific Book Subscription Department. A complex area of work was conducted here to redirect unsatisfied requirements of the libraries of the republics, most of which were issued in foreign languages, to other libraries of the BSSR and the Soviet Union.
