The Virtual Reading Room of the National Library of Belarus continues to acquaint users with the local history resources of public libraries by paying tribute to the participants of the Great Patriotic War and the dead.
This time we present the electronic resource centralized library system called “Heroic Dzerzhinsk District”.
Pages of heroic defence, partisan and underground movement, the liberation of the Dzerzhinsk district, bitter testimonies of people about life in the occupation, burnt villages are reflected in the resource “Heroic Dzerzhinsk District”. The resource tells us about the natives of the district: adolescents - members of partisan detachments, sabotage and underground groups; Heroes of the Soviet Union, commanders and soldiers who defended Leningrad and Stalingrad, liberated Sevastopol and Borisov, took Königsberg, the cities of Belgium and Prague.
Factual information on each topic is accompanied by bibliographic lists.
