On 14 September, a festive event "Visiting the Queen of Books", dedicated to the Library Day, was held in the Children’s Room.
During a fascinating journey through the Library young participants appeared in the Kingdom of books and saw how they are stored. They played the game "What does a book like?" in which children talked about the rules of handling a book.
At the Book Museum the young readers became interested in the unusual editions: small books, big books and royal books, etc. The workers of the museum told briefly the history of their creating. The children had the opportunity to hold in their hands small books and to look bright and colorful illustrations of children’s books.
The young participants were very glad to make a journey through a glass bridge with the stop at the "ball of desires". During the journey, the children solved riddles and participated in a literary quiz.
Their emotions and impressions were reflected in pictures. With enthusiasm they painted bookshelves, the Library and books in unusual covers. The result was an interesting exhibition of works.
The event ended with the giving of presents.
