The delegation of the Association of Ukrainian Cities visited the main book treasure of the country on April 2.
The delegation included heads of Ukrainian cities: Sergey Solomakha, the mayor of the Mirgorod city and Valery Kolomeitsev, the mayor of the Ladyzhina city.
Roman Motulsky, the Director of the National Library of Belarus, held a sightseeing tour for honored guests, during which they learned the history, architecture and information resources of the establishment.
Members of the delegation visited the most significant places of the library: the Round Hall, the Observation Deck, the Book museum, the exhibition of artistic holograms "Education. Cognition. Progress". The exposition presents works of Belarusian enterprises "Magic of Light" and "Holographic Industry", which today are leaders of the production of holograms in the post-Soviet territory.
At the end of the meeting Roman Motulsky handed memorable gifts to the guests.
