On June 23, 2009, in the framework of the series of events timed to the Day of National Remembrance for victims of the Great Patriotic War, veterans of the Great Patriotic War visited National Library of Belarus.
The guests took part in the ceremony at which Belarusian libraries received the album of works by the honored artist of the Republic of Belarus I.S. Dmukhaylo..
Workers of the National Library tour department arranged excursions for the veterans.
The guests got acquainted with the history of the Library, its peculiar architecture and design, the Library’s rich collections and user service, visited the art gallery “Atrium” and the Museum ofa Book and ascended the Observation platform.
