Take the opportunity and visit an unusual exhibition dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of Vladimir Karatkevich, which operates in the Book Museum of the National Library of Belarus.

Unique exhibits, including books with bookplates and gift inscriptions from the writer's personal library, as well as rare photos and things, will be on view until the end of January.

Karatkievich-muziej.jpgWe bring to your attention a recording of the program of the radio "Culture", where the head of the museum sector of the research department of bibliography Tatiana Zakharova told about the interests of the exposition in a conversation with Natalia Sirotka.

The exhibition was prepared jointly with the custodians of Uladzimir Karatkevich’s legacy - the family of his niece Alena Sinkevich.

The exposition also presents books from the funds of the State Museum of the History of Belarusian Literature.

The exhibition "From the Books of Uladzimir Karatkevich" will run until January 31, 2021 every day, except Mondays and public holidays.

The opening hours of the exhibition correspond to the Library opening hours.
Admission is by a library card or by the Social and Cultural Center ticket.

The first tour of the works by Frantishak Bagushevich in the "Famous Names of Motherland" cycle took place in the National Library of Belarus on the 3rd of March. Bagushevich was one of the founders of the new Belarusian literature. The excursion was attended by students of the Minsk State Lyceum of Construction No. 7.
