On 14 December, within the framework of an official visit to the Republic of Belarus the Vietnamese Parliamentary delegation visited the National Library of Belarus.
The delegation was headed by speaker of the National Assambly Justice Committee of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Nguyen Van Hien.
At the National Library of Belarus the guests were welcomed by director of the National Library of Belarus Roman Motulsky. They visited an excursion over the Library during which they learned about its activities, information resources, equipment, reading rooms, architectural features and interior design. The excursion continued at the Library’s Observation Platform from where they got a beautiful view of the capital and its outskirts.
At the Book Museum the guests viewed the collection of rare editions from the collections of the National Library of Belarus. Speaker Nguyen Van Hien wrote a memorable entry in the Guests of Honor Book.
