On 25 October, within the framework of an official visit to the Republic of Belarus Kazakhstan delegation visited the National Library of Belarus.
The delegation was headed with Majilis chairman of Kazakhstan Parliament Ural Mukhamedzhanov.
Elena Dolgopolova, First Deputy Director of the National Library of Belarus for User Service and Ideology, welcomed the guests at the National Library of Belarus.
Members of the delegation made a familiarization excursion to the Library and learned about its activities, architectural features, equipment, information resources and interior design.
The excursion continued at the Library’s Observation Platform where the guests had a marvelous view of the capital and its outskirts.
At the Book Museum the guests could see the collection of rare editions from the stocks of the National Library of Belarus. Mr. Mukhamedzhanov wrote a memorable entry in the Guests of Honor Book.
