A seminar on “The Resources of the Virtual Reading Room of the National Library of Belarus and Information Services on the Web of Science Platform to Increase the Efficiency of the University’s Scientific Activities”, was held at Grodno State University named after Yanka Kupala, on December 4.
The event was organized by the National Library of Belarus and Clarivate Analytics Company.
Vyacheslav Brichkovsky, head of the information support of innovation activities sector, the National Library of Belarus, revealed the advantages of using the resources of the virtual reading room of the National Library of Belarus for information support of the university’s scientific activity. He also informed the audience about the world electronic information resources available to partners and users of the virtual reading room.
Irina Tikhonkova, the Clarivate Analytics coach, introduced the attendees to the features of the Web of Science information services. The participants were greatly interested in practical aspects of using the Web of Science platform to solve a wide range of tasks in information support of the university’s scientific activities, which contribute to improving the university’s publishing products, expanding international cooperation, and search for financing joint research projects.
The seminar was attended by eepresentatives of Grodno State Medical University and Grodno State Agrarian University.
