On January 25th there was the third anniversary of the informational-educative project of the National Library of Belarus “The Reference Point”.
The main purpose of the project is to promote the self-development of Human.
The project includes the following subject sections:
- The strategies of happiness, or Everything is in you hands;
- The self-development, or How to stay healthy;
- The matrix of life, or What we know about ourselves.
At the events organized within the framework of the project visitors can extend their knowledge and develop their inner resources through trainings and seminars held by experts. An important point is that the project “The Reference Point” helps people to realize that they are responsible for their own lives and fates.
According to the results of a questionnaire survey, guests of the project especially appreciate the following: interesting themes, useful information and practice, acquaintance with competent people, music and video as an integral part of the project, dialogue between a speaker and listeners, attention of the curator to visitors, friendly environment, positive thoughts and the opportunity to have a nice time.
Between 2007 and 2010, 73 events were held, 2 970 people visited the programs.
The curator of the project is worker of the Library Anna Lel.
