The award ceremony of the Internet Prize “TIBO 2018” was held in Minsk-Arena, on May 17.
The professional prize is awarded annually to network projects, developed in the national segment of the Internet, for remarkable socio-cultural, technological and artistic achievements in the field of information, culture, fine arts and education.
In 2018, 330 applications were submitted, from which the competent jury selected winners in ten nominations.
The sites of government authorities, cultural, scientific educational, medicine, sport and tourist institutions, banks, mass media, private and public enterprises are among the winners.
The new Internet portal of the National Library of Belarus, which was developed by the Astronim Systems Company, is awarded in nomination “Education and Science”.
The award ceremony was attended by the deputy director of the National Library of Belarus for information resources, Tatiana Kuzminich, the head of the Internet Portal Maintenance Department, Julia Kiseleva, and the director of the Astronim Systems Company, Bogdan Korovets.
