On April 29, 2008, at 17.00 at the National Library of Belarus took place the opening of a multimedia exhibition “The Republic of Cultural Diversity”, which was organized in cooperation with the Polish institute in Minsk.
The exposition had been prepared by the National Library in Warsaw. On 10 multimedia desks are displayed 10 documentary films. Two of them are about the history of Poland and Polish National Library. The other eight films are dedicated to the past and present of the Polish culture. The films acquaint visitors with the most precious manuscripts, incunabula, maps, and books from Polish National Library collections.
The exhibition is open until the end of May, 2008.
