On 15 June, the Republic of Belarus State Prize award ceremony took place at the Round Hall of the National Library of Belarus.
Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich presented the awards on behalf of the Head of State.
77 employees of different branches of national economy – representatives of the Ministry of Finances, the Ministry of Taxes and Duties, custom service, mass media, employees of Belarusian industries, building industry, teachers, physicians, artists – were awarded.
The awards were handed over for outstanding achievements in industrial, social and cultural spheres, a significant personal contribution to implementation of prognostic parameters of social and economic development of the Republic in 2006-2010.
