Representatives of the National Library of Belarus and Lan Electronic Library System Company conducted a series of workshops, started in Brest. The events were held in Gomel universities and the regional library, on February 21 and 22.
Ruslan Dolgy, a specialist of the Corporate Interaction Department of the National Library of Belarus, presented licensed databases of the world's best aggregators and publishers, available in the virtual reading room. The workshops, held in Gomel State University named after Francysk Skaryna and Gomel State Technical University, were attended by university teachers, students, graduates and staff of university libraries.
Svetlana Shnurova, Deputy Director of Lan Electronic Library System, conducted a workshop on using the company’s products in education . Special attention was paid to inclusive education. Librarians were presented with new services and features.
A workshop on the virtual reading room was also held in Gomel Regional Universal Library and attended by the library staff and representatives of Gomel City Central Library System.
The attendees were introduced to the new electronic project of the National Library of Belarus – the web navigator “Belarus in the Information Space”, providing single access to Belarusian electronic resources and important information about Belarus for businessmen, researchers, public organizations and Belarusian Diaspora.
