On February 11–15, 2009, the National Library of Belarus participated in XVI Minsk International Book Fair “Books of Belarus – 2009” which took place in the National exhibition center “BelEXPO”.
The National Library of Belarus presented an exposition of video materials and information resources: publications informing on the Library’s collections, materials of conferences, bibliography, materials on history, culture and art.
Both printed and electronic publications by the National Library of Belarus enjoyed wide popularity, especially the photo album “Rarities of National Library of Belarus”, the album “National Library of Belarus”, the booklet “National Library of Belarus Guidebook”, as well as the electronic resources “Napoleon Orda’s Heritage”, “Chernobyl”, “Electronic Library for Schoolchildren”.
This year the National Library of Belarus received as a present over 130 books from publishing houses of Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, and other countries.
At the end of the Fair the National Library of Belarus was awarded the Diploma for an active participation.
