On May 18th, within the framework of the visit to the Republic of Belarus, the Latvian parliamentary delegation headed by Chairman of the Latvian Seym Commission for International Affairs Andris Berzins visited the National Library of Belarus.
Acting Director of the National Library of Belarus L.G. Kiryukhina welcomed the delegation. During the panoramic excursion of the Library the guests familiarized themselves with its activities, architectural features, equipment, information resources and interior design.
Members of the delegation ascended the open observation platform and admired the picturesque panorama of the capital and the suburbs.
At the Book Museum the guests viewed the rare publications from the collections of the National Library of Belarus.
