Reputable Polish scientists intend to take part in the 14th International Book Lectures and present the reports on the history of book culture.

The conference will be attended by the outstanding representatives of modern Polish book science: prof. dr hab. Zoja Jaroszewicz-Pieresławcew (the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn), prof. dr hab. Antoni Mironowicz (the University of Bialystok), and prof.dr hab. Piotr Chomik, the director of the University Library named after Jerzy Giedroyc in Bialystok.

The Polish scholars’ visit is provided by the Polish Institute in Minsk, which is the partner and co-organizer of the 14th International Book Lectures.

The 14th International Book Lectures will be held on April 26–27, 2018, in the National Library of Belarus. The conference’s aim is to consolidate the scientific community in order to discuss topical issues on the study and popularization of the book heritage, as well as to stimulate cooperation between researchers of the book culture.

On April 24, 2024, at the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Rumyantsev Readings-2024" in Moscow, Olga Polunchenko, chief bibliographer of the Department of reference and Information Services, presented a report "The role of Adam Shanyavsky in organizing the library fund of the Nesvizh County School (the last quarter of the XVIII century)."
