The database “Belarus in persons and events” is available to organizations-partners of National Library of Belarus in the Virtual reading room.
The database contains factographic information on the eminent people who made an outstanding contribution to scientific, cultural and spiritual heritage of Belarus, historical and cultural monuments and the most important events in economic, social and political, military, cultural, and other spheres.
The database informs on institutions, organizations, industries, buildings and wildlife preservations.
The text information is illustrated with artworks and contains links to Internet resources.
The test access is open via the Virtual reading room of National Library of Belarus till 31.12.2010.
