On June 6, the Cooperation Agreement between the Standing Committee of the Union State and the National Library of Belarus was signed at the library.
The signing of the Agreement was preceded by the opening of the exhibition "The Union State of Belarus and Russia" with the participation of the Republic of Belarus Culture Minister Boris Svetlov and the State Secretary of the Union State Grigory Rapota.
The book exhibition is a gift of the Standing Committee of the Union State and contains more than 50 titles, including compilations of legal documents, statistics and reference books, publications about historical ties between the Belarusian and Russian peoples and cooperation in various fields within the bounds of the Union State. The guides to the ancient Slavic cities: Polotsk, Smolensk, Rzhev, Slutsk and other cities of Belarus and Russia from Moscow to Brest, as well as thematic graphic publications are of particular interest.
After the welcoming speech of the Director of the National Library of Belarus Roman Motulsky, the Cooperation Agreement between the Standing Committee of the Union State and the National Library of Belarus was officially signed.
