On August 11th, within the framework of the action initiated by the Ministry of Culture of Belarus, the National library of Belarus has donated 60 copies of the most popular editions to the collections of the library in Zhdanovichi (the Minsk area).
Among them – the art and popular scientific literature, albums, atlases, etc. The Minister of Culture of Belarus P. Latushko took part in the ceremony of the donation of books.
The National library of Belarus conducts a permanent job on the organization of the interlibrary loan and delivery of materials. As the result about 200 libraries of the country annually receive the literature from the NLB’s collections. Thus, only last year it has been donated more than 85 000 copies of documents to the Belarusian libraries.
