Every year the world celebrates International Mother Language Day on February 21.
On this occasion, the National Library of Belarus traditionally prepares holiday graphics showing the beauty of the Belarusian language.
In the evening from 19 to 21 February, we invite you to taste our "mother language": interesting videos can be seen on the building. These are not only traditional quotes from the classics of the national literature, but also beautiful Belarusian words, graphic features – everything that distinguishes our native language from others.
Placing congratulations, messages on significant dates and events on an outdoor electronic light board has already become a good tradition of the National Library of Belarus, which always takes part in state cultural and educational events.
From February 15, a video dedicated to the Year of National Unity has been broadcast on the library building. You can see it every day in the evening.
