In conjunction with the educational editorial non-profit initiative "The Right's Heritage," a presentation of the book "Selected Works by S.G. Drobyazko," commemorating the 100th birthday of Stepan Drobyazko, Honored Lawyer of the Republic of Belarus, was held on December 20.
The most well-known legal theorist in Belarus, Stepan Grigorievich, is rightfully regarded as the pioneer of a number of scholarly paths. The professor is the author of more than 200 scientific and methodological works. His research's primary scientific focus is on how to make the legal system as a whole better.
The author of the new book "Selected Works by S.G. Drobyazko" examines the fundamental and legal laws of the development of national legislation, issues of the nature of the social rule of law, challenges of improving and systematising legislation, and also discusses the prospects for the development of the "Heritage of Law" project, taking into account the current needs of law-making, law enforcement, and judicial administration. The participants were introduced to the content of this book during the presentation.
The event was attended by members of the Scientific Council of the project "Heritage of Law", representatives of state bodies and organizations, eminent domestic researches and legal professionals.
The National Library of Belarus was presented by Viktar Pshybytka, Deputy Director General – Director for Information Resources and User Services. Viktor Vikentievich underlined in his address that the National Library has made every effort to advance legal literacy in society throughout the course of its existence. Several initiatives that support citizen legal education have been carried out throughout the previous two decades. The non-profit project "Heritage of Law" is also part of this activity.
A wide spectrum of readers will definitely be interested in the release of selected works by Stepan Grigorievich Drobyazko, and this will help the advancement of domestic legal research. The collection will have a prominent position in the National Library's holdings as the primary repository of the Belarusian people's cultural legacy.
