On 30 January, a seminar-presentation "The Virtual Reading Room of the National Library of Belarus in a service system for remote users" was held at the Researchers Training Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

Head of the Department Irina Bogdanova addressed to participants with an opening speech.

Specialists of Electronic Information Resources Acquisition Division of the National Library of Belarus Elena Snigireva, Oksana Rudkovskaya, Pavel Kalenteev acquainted the participants with the resources of the databases EBSCO, Grebennikon, EastView, IQlib, Gale: Biograhy in Context, "Integrum" and others to which are offered to subscribe in the Virtual Reading Room in 2014 year.

There were shown other resources of open access which can be interesting for researchers and students, databases created by the National Library of Belarus and other libraries of our country.

The event was attended by workers of National Library of Belarus and teachers of the institute.
