On 16 January, in the library of the Belarusian State Agricultural Technical University (BGATU) there was held a seminar-presentation “The Virtual reading room of the National Library of Belarus and information support of education and science”.


Director of the library Maria Malinovskaya made opening address to participants of the seminar.

Specialists of the National Library of Belarus Elena Snegireva, Oksana Rudkovskaya and Pavel Kalenteev acquainted participants of the seminar with resources of Integrum, EBSCO, Grebennikon, EastView, IQlib, Gale: Biograhy in Context and other databases available to subscribers of the Virtual reading room in 2014.

Public information resources interesting to research workers and students, databases created by the National Library of Belarus and other Belarusian libraries were also presented.

The event gathered about 30 participants: librarians, research workers and university professors.
