A series of seminars "Possibilities of using the Web of Science citation indexing service to improve the research, education and innovation efficiency" was opened on February 26.

The first seminar was held in the Belarusian Agricultural of National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Library named after. I. Lupinovich and it was dedicated to information support of science in the agro-industrial complex.

The event was opened by Vitaly Gerdiy, the library's director. The seminar gathered more than 50 participants: employees of the library, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, research institutes and scientific and practical centers of the agricultural sector.

The Web of Science platform possibilities was presented by Irina Tikhonkova, specialist of Clarivate Analytics training. She showed to listeners the collections content and the indexes formation on the Web of Science platform, algorithms for searching and analyzing scientific information, peculiarities of using scientometric indicators in the planning and evaluation of scientific research.
