On December 21, 2007, in National Library of Belarus took place a seminar on sports and health promoting.
During the plenary session V.P. Gridyushko, the Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Belarus, Chairman of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus Sport Club read a report on sports and health promoting.
Participants of the seminar exchanged of experience, and discussed the urgent issues of sports and health promoting.
In the framework of the seminar was open a bock exhibition dedicated to sports and health promoting. Lyudmila Kiryukhina, the Deputy Director for library science and public relations, V.T. Malinovsky, the Vice-Chairman of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus Sport Club, and P.P. Nyepryakhin, the Head of the Ministry of Sport and Tourism of the republic of Belarus physical culture administration participated in the event.
Participants of the seminar were acquainted with the NLB fitness centre and watched a documentary film on the activities of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus Sport Club.
